Two related terms
The fruiting body is the visible mushroom structure. Mycelium is the network of fungal threads from which it grows. Products may use one, the other or both, depending on their formulation.
Why labels should be precise
These words are product facts, not automatic proof of quality or a consumer outcome. A brand should publish them only when supplier and manufacturing records support the statement.
What to ask
Ask which material is used, how the preparation was made, what each serving contains and whether the statement can be traced to the actual batch.
